RATES & ACCOMMODATION

  • All the rates are in Ghanaian cedis and are set per space per night. 

  • The maximum capacity for each space/ room is dependent on the particular space.

  • Rates are subject to change without notice. Accommodation is subject to availability.

  • At certain times of the year (rainy season) there are naturally more insects – mosquitoes and house flies. All interior spaces are screened, with natural repellants (Citronella candles) available in semi indoor-outdoor spaces to help keep insects disinterested

  • The plugs and voltages (240v) in Ghana are to EU specification. Guests from the UK and US will need a 2 or 3 pronged UK style adaptor.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

  • All bookings are pre-paid. 

  • We only accept online payments; for secure payments we work with x. 

  • You will be sent an invoice with the summary of your reservation. Please specify on the booking form if you want to include any Vat Number or a different name/ company name in the invoice.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Note: Cancellation Fee Policy

  • Cancellations 30 days prior to arrival – 30% of total stay retained by Concept Space

  • Cancellation 15 days prior to arrival - 50% of total stay retained by Concept Space

  • Cancellation 8 days prior to arrival – 100% of total stay retained by Concept Space

  • Cancellations are only effective in writing.

  • Deposits are transferable only if the cancellation is covered by a new booking for the same period; in this case 25% of the total booking amount will be deducted as administrative compensation.

  • No refunds are given for no-show, travel and flight cancellations, delays or early departures, bad weather, traffic or by any mistake on the booking process.

  • We reserve the right to modify, alter, or substitute all or any part of our services when reasonably necessary and/or advisable. If this occurs we agree to provide the best alternative available.

CHECK-IN 

ARRIVAL | Check in time: 3 pm onwards 

  • Arrival time should be communicated in advance to enable sufficient organization of the guest’s check-in especially if guests expect to arrive later than 7 pm. This is essential as we are not a traditional hotel and do not offer a 24-hour reception service.

DEPARTURE | Check out time: 12pm. 

  • In the case where the room is not vacated by this time, the guest will be subject to the cost of an additional night.

  • Late check-out may be requested prior to arrival and is subject to availability and confirmation by our team.

  • We do not offer to hold luggage.

COMPLAINTS 

  • Any complaint about the booking service must be notified in writing/ by email as soon as possible to enable us offer the best solution.

  • Any complaints or concerns during your stay should be brought to our attention as soon as possible within the stay. If not resolved to your satisfaction, please notify in writing no later than 14 days after departure.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

  • Concept Space and its owners, directors, management and employees shall not assume liability for any illness, injury or death to persons visiting the properties or for any other incident of any nature involving any client(s) while they are on the property or while travelling to/from the properties. 

  • Concept Space [c/o Cult Meraki Ltd] cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to private property, however it may be caused.

IMPORTANT

studio spaces | GENERAL

  • Packages for workshops cover material, tool and equipment use unless otherwise communicated for particular session.

​

  • Sessions/ classes are reserved on a first come first serve basis.

​​

  • Add-on experiences and services by our external partners are available on request and subject to availability. Please confirm the possibilities and respective costs with our team; these are billed separately. ​​​

​

  • Smoking, is only permitted outside our spaces with exclusive use of an ashtray. Otherwise, there is a high possibility of causing a fire that guests will be responsible for.

​

  • Pets are not permitted in our spaces, gardens inclusive. ​​

​

  • To book all of a space for any other reason (party/ family/ corporate or private stay) please send a request here so that we can inform you of any special conditions. For events our current maximum capacity is 30 persons.

​

  • All the articles inside the studios are property of Concept Space. Guests are not allowed to take them outside of the studios even if guests have the intention to bring them back after.​​

​​

  • Any form of photo or video production for advertisement, propaganda or commercial purpose are strictly forbidden during the stay. 

​

  • Photoshoots and media activities must be discussed and then confirmed by our team. 

​

  • Please be aware guests are subject to extra charges for any non-compliance of our terms and conditions presented above

  • Prices include 2 bedrooms, communal areas, cleaning and all taxes. The maximum capacity is 4 guests. 

​

  • During high season (july, august and december) minimum stay is 4 nights. During low season (all other months outside of the high season) minimum stay is 2 nights. In case a guest would like to stay a shorter period please send your request here and our team will confirm if this can be accommodated. ​​

​

  • The use of the space is limited to the number of guests specified in the booking conditions, other people from the outside are not allowed on the property.

​

  • Concept Space does not bear any responsibility about any accidental occurrences inside or outside the premises. ​​

​

  • The space is not suitable for children, especially below 3 years as we do not provide sleeping cots for children.

​

  • The swimming pool has no surveillance. It is the guests sole responsibility to ensure the safety of those who do not know how to swim, especially children. 

​

  • Guests are to monitor their children and themselves to stay in clear and groomed areas as we can’t prevent all risk related to the usual west African pests in air, on earth and in water.

​

  • Out of privacy and decorum,  please do not have sex in the swimming pool which is shared with the main residence and host.

​

  • While treated, we do not recommend that you drink the tap water.

​

  • The space is a TV free environment.​

​

  • Please be advised that we do not have air conditioning in Blue Green Paprika. The rooms of the villa are fitted with fans to ease things along on the hottest breezeless – not often. The architecture is developed with passive sensibilities to help keep the building fresh and well aerated, oriented on spacious grounds with vegetation that aids in wind flow across the site. 

​

  • Smoking, is only permitted outside our spaces with exclusive use of an ashtray. Otherwise, there is a high possibility of causing a fire that guests will be liable for.​

  • Any form of photo or video production for advertisement, propaganda or commercial purpose are strictly forbidden during the stay. Photoshoots and media activities must be discussed and then confirmed by our team before booking.

  • All the articles inside our spaces are property of the house. Guests are not allowed to take them outside of the house even if guests have the intention to bring them back after.​​

  • Guests are responsible for ensuring everything is in the exact same condition as when they arrived although there is no required damage deposit.​

​

  • Add-on experiences and services by our external partners are available on request and subject to availability. Please confirm the possibilities and respective costs with our team. Prices are not included in the booking but charged separately.

  • During a stay, if a guest would like to invite any one outside the booking for an add-on experience – picnic/ dining/ exercise/ tour – please confirm with our team on availability first. Any extra charges will be billed separately.

​​​

  • To reserve water, for the environment, we ask guests to please not waste any water.​​

​​

  • Pets are not permitted in our spaces, gardens inclusive. Our grounds are host to other pets (dogs) who tend to leave guests alone.

​

  • The guests are not allowed to enter the main residence and the staff residence including kitchen back yard, storage and back kitchen.

​

  • To book all of the space (villa, and  grounds) for any other reason (party/ family/ corporate or private stay) please send us an event request at bgp@concept-space.com ; for events our current maximum capacity is 12/ 30 persons, depending on the selected zone.

  • Please be aware guests are subject to extra charges for any non-compliance of our terms and conditions presented above
